WELCOME to Grace Episcopal Church Massapequa, a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. God calls Grace Church to be a welcoming home for ALL People seeking spiritual enrichment and comfort. Our vision is to be a visible sign of God's love in this world which is best shown through our actions and faithful Christian lives.
The Ministries of Grace Episcopal Church under the umbrella - Inspired by Grace focuses on feeding and clothing the less privileged, touching the lives of children in need, and reaching out to our seniors. Grace supports the community by offering a high-quality early childhood education center, before and after-school care and a new extended day program for one and two year olds. Working parents can share a collective sense of gratitude knowing their children are in a nurturing yet secure environment. In essence, Grace seeks to faithfully represent the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
It is our hope that you will join us regularly in worshiping and praising God. Our Sunday masses are held at 8:00am and 10:00am. Christian education is offered at 9:00am. Children and young adults gather in the undercroft of the Church where free childcare is offered during the 10:00am service. Christian Education for Adults, called Forum, is also offered. After Sunday services, we offer a bagel and coffee hour which is a time to socialize and enrich our lives through discussion and sharing life events amongst our church family. Offering a service more attuned for our children and youngsters, Youth Sunday is celebrated every third Sunday of the month. All children are invited to actively participate in the liturgy, choir, and readings.
Additional ministries including our Young at Heart Senior Group and Grace Thrifty Boutique are listed on our parish website at www.gracechurchmassapequa.org. You may follow us on Facebook as well.
We look forward to you joining our parish family in worship and being part of our Christian family. Please do not hesitate to contact me at 516.798.1122 if you have any questions or concerns.
May God bless and watch over you.
