Are there two institutions at Grace?
No. Grace School is a Ministry of Grace Church.
Is there more than one program at Grace?
Yes, We have the Early Childhood Program, The Before and After School Program, and The Above & Beyond Full Time Care Program.
Is Grace funded by an outside institution?
No, Grace is funded entirely through student tuition.
Can I enroll my child in Grace even if I am not Christian?
Yes, we do not discriminate. All are welcome!
Can I have a tour of the campus at Grace?
Yes, we have open houses and you can also schedule a tour Ext. 10
Do I need to fill out an application form and an enrollment form?
Yes, we need these forms for every child at Grace.
Can I reserve a spot at Grace before my child is born?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it.
I am already in the Grace family, when should I re-enroll my child for next year?
You should re-enroll as soon as possible, available spots fill up quickly.
Is there a waiting list at Grace?
Yes.
What is the Early Childhood Program at Grace?
The Early Childhood Program at Grace is a curriculum based academic program that runs from September through June. The program is for 2 year old's and up.
What is Above & Beyond?
Above & Beyond is our full time program. The program runs the entire year from Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, except the weeks of July 4th and Christmas.
I am a teacher, what program would be best for my child?
The Early Childhood Program. Additionally, we offer a Before and After school program to fit your needs.
Does Grace offer a Summer Camp?
Yes, we offer a 1-6 week program from July to August. We offer a very popular camp program. Please sign up as soon as possible as spots fill up quickly.
Can I request a refund for my down payment?
No. In our enrollment agreement it states that all down payments are non refundable.
Can I request a refund for the application fee or the consolidated fee?
No. All fees are non refundable.
Are Grace Church donations tax deductible?
Yes, all donations to Grace are tax deductible
If I have a complaint, where should I go?
If there is a complaint you can contact our office. If we are not able to assist you then you may contact NY State OCFS.
Where can I find the procedures at Grace?
You can find all information in the Parent Handbook.
Are your teachers qualified?
Yes, we strictly follow the OCFS guidelines. All of our teachers are required to complete continuous education credits.
I am looking for a program for the entire year, what should I do?
The best program for you would be Above & Beyond which is our Full Time Program.
Do you have a program that runs from September-June?
The best program for you would be the Early Childhood Program and if you need any before or after school care then you would sign up for the Before and After School Program. We offer various Before and After School plans to support your schedule.
Is there any pro-rating when I change my program choice?
No.
Can I pay in cash?
No, we prefer a check or a money order. There is an option to pay with a credit card as well.
At what age does Grace accept students?
Starting at 6 weeks to 4 years old (pre-k age).
Does my child need to be potty trained to be in the nursery or pre-k program?
Pre-k must be potty trained.
How frequently are toys in the classroom sanitized?
Multiple times a day. In every room there is a dirty toy bin. When children play with toys they go into that bin until they are sanitized and are ready to be reused.
What if I am late picking up my child?
We have aftercare programs available, for more information please contact our office. Our school closes at 6:30 PM. If you pick up after 6:30PM there is a late fee we have to charge.
Do the children have outdoor play time?
Yes. OCFS requires that children participate in daily outdoor activities unless the temperature is below 32 degrees. In inclement weather, children play in our gym.
